The colour is rich, almost like a lipstick when you look at it. The lip balm is colourless, but one day while staring into it, I found that is has a tinge of baby pink colour in it, which when applied is not very visible. It has a beautiful cherry fragrance and a cherry taste, but it is very light, which I really like because I don’t like very sweet-flavoured lip balms or strong-smelling lip balms as they irritate me. Maybelline has always come up with really appreciable lip balms. It’s suitable to be used underneath lipsticks or just to get the moisturizing benefits of a lip balm. This one as it claims is completely colorless without being whitish. The other non-tinted one is called Mango Pie that was reviewed yesterday. I was interested to try a non-tinted lip balm that I could use at night and after scrubbing my lips. I picked up this shade called Anti-oxidant Berry. Maybelline Baby Lips – Anti-oxidant Berry It can be concluded as a full-fledged worthy combo. I just love this range I have so many of them but will get some more as it hydrates the lips, keeps them from chapping or drying up, gives a nice pink tint and has SPF too. It does not last for 6 hours but will last for a time of 3 hours but re-application helps me. It is very moisturising and will work great for dry lips too and makes them completely hydrated. It contains SPF as well and that is the main thing that I needed, the product content is low but for lips it is fine. However this one would not show up on pigmented lips but it gives a nice shine which will look good on everyone. Although it wouldn’t be called as bright but whatever it is I loved the shade and I am happy that I got 2 even without trying it. The colour pay-off is really good as it gives a nice pink tint to the lips which looks very sweet and natural on the lips. Maybelline Baby Lips Color In Pink Peony SPF 16 This one comes in a long, black, twist-up tube with bright neon green writing on the clear cap.

As I have mentioned before, I love the packaging. I was thinking who wears green lip balm, but then I looked at the label and it said “Minty Sheer.” So, then I knew that it is just a light sheer shade. Also you can glide it on your favorite lipstick to make your lips look more attractive 🙂Īt first, when I looked at the green color I was definitely not tempted to buy it. It has got a lovely fragrance too, something similar to the smell of a strawberry 🙂 😀 Due its pinkish shade it can be used instead of a lipstick. And the baby pink color looks so pleasant on the lips.
How to choose lip color for indian skin tv#
My lips look and feel really soft and healthy with this on and the faint pink flush it gives (God, didn’t that sound like a TV commercial?) It’s not very heavy and doesn’t feel like its sitting on my lips. They are completely non-flaky unlike some other lip balms that have SPF like the Lotus Herbals. In spite of having SPF 16 or something, these don’t leave any sort of whitish-cast behind. What has struck me about these lip balms is that they are so super-smooth and easy to apply. Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm–Pink Lolita

So overall, this lip balm is an OK product, not too great but not too bad either. I have been using so many of these products on a regular basis and my lips look and feel the same they did before. Maybelline claims that it will make your lips look and feel better after constant use. This does not last me too long but I did not expect it too. The texture of the product is smooth though it can feel greasy if applied too much. There is little or no color pay off once applied and if there is then I guess it just blends in with my natural lip color. I must say though it contains SPF it does not leave behind any kind of white shield on the lips. It does contain SPF 20 which is great if you step out in the sun. The texture is so buttery and though it does not feel greasy on the lips. It is so smooth, it glides on the lips effortlessly, making the lips so soft instantly. Maybelline Babylips Lip Balm in Mango Pie is the most amazing lip balm I have ever tired.
